'Game of Thrones' creator George R.R. Martin is 'seeing red' over United
Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin gave us the Red Wedding, beheadings, and hordes of killer ice zombies. But even he can’t stomach United Airlines. Usually, Martin sticks to dragons, comic books, and the New York Jets on his blog, but this time he went after United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz, calling for his resignation. "He's a disgrace," Martin said. Munoz finally actually apologized Tuesday for the incident that was caught on video and triggered outrage (and financial losses) at the airline. George R. R. After re-sharing the video, Martin said he was "outraged" by the footage and even more upset by the "mealy-mouthed corporate bullshit" the company and CEO put out. The fantasy author harkened back to days when passengers were treated as paying customers instead of cattle.
