US Official: Russia knew Syrian chemical attack was coming
WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States has concluded that Russia knew ahead of time that Syria would launch a chemical weapons attack last week, a senior U.S. official says.
United Airlines under fire after passenger dragged from plane; officer put on leave
By Alana Wise NEW YORK (Reuters) - United Airlines sparked outrage on Monday for the treatment of a passenger who was physically dragged off a plane the airline had overbooked, and one of the security officers involved in the incident was placed on leave pending an investigation. Videos posted online by other passengers showed a man screaming as officers yanked him from his seat on United Flight 3411 before it departed from Chicago O'Hare International Airport to Louisville, Kentucky, on Sunday. The videos sparked outrage on social media, the second time in less than a month that United was criticized for its treatment of passengers.

The United fiasco was terrible for the airline

New Venezuela clashes, US voices 'grave concern'
Venezuela erupted Monday in a fifth day of violent protests against President Nicolas Maduro as the United States voiced "grave concern" over moves to stifle one of his main opponents. In the latest clashes in the once-booming oil exporter, riot police in Caracas fired tear gas at stone-throwing demonstrators -- whose leaders vowed not to let up the pressure on Maduro. The streets of Caracas and several other Venezuelan cities have seen running battles in recent days as protesters have rallied demanding elections.
Full Fourth Circuit to rule on Trump immigration order
The 15-judge U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit will review before the full bench President Trump’s 90-day suspension of entry into the U.S. of any foreign nationals from six Mideast nations.
