A four-year-old boy is in a serious condition after he was shot in the head following an apparent road rage incident involving his mother. The youngster, who has not been identified by the authorities, was taken to Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital where he was reportedly conscious and breathing.
Venezuela army hunts rebels who attacked military base
Venezuela's military on Monday hunted a group of "mercenaries" who made off with weapons in an attack on an army base carried out against what they called the "murderous tyranny" of President Nicolas Maduro. The raid ended with two of the attackers killed and eight captured, Maduro said on state television. Maduro claimed the "terrorist" group had ties to Colombia and the United States.
