Australian supporters set up fund for cardinal after sex charges: reportVatican finance chief Cardinal George Pell's Australian supporters have set up a fund to help pay his legal fees after he was charged with historical sexual offences, a report said Sunday. Pell was ordered to face a Melbourne court hearing on July 26, and has been granted a leave of absence by Pope Francis.

25 wounded, three trampled during US nightclub shootingTwenty-five people were wounded, two of whom were in critical condition, during a nightclub shooting early Saturday in the southern US state of Arkansas, officials said. Authorities said three more people were injured by stampeding patrons fleeing the shooting. "I want to reassure our public that this was not an act of terrorism but a tragedy... It does not appear to be a planned shooting," Mayor Mark Stodola told a press conference.
