US top court says electoral maps must be reviewed for racial biasThe US Supreme Court on Wednesday came down on the side of Democrats who charged that certain US electoral districts in Virginia were drawn to dilute the influence of black voters elsewhere in the state. Black voters tend to vote Democratic, while majority white districts are more likely to go Republican.
